Hi -- I'm Dave Novak. I was diagnosed with high-grade Myxoid Liposarcoma (stage 3) on my left thigh in July, 2008 and a metastatic recurrence in my right pelvis area (stage 4) in January, 2019. This blog contains my full story (diagnosis - today) and seeks to educate, inform, and encourage new patients and their families.

Update on Liver MRI
I got a call about an hour ago from Andre (of Dr. Monson's office) to say that my liver MRI came back clean (as they expected). This is probably the first real break I've had with this ordeal. Yeah!
What great news!! Thanks for taking the time to update the blog. I laughed at the suggestion of a hostile takeover of it! You've got such a great sense of humor...that will help for sure in the months to come.
Greetings from Grand Cayman and shouts of joy from the James Gang at your wonderful news! I must beg to differ with Deborah, however... we've seen you give that liver a pretty good workout from time to time!
